Camera App and transfering photgraphs to my computer

With the iPad i took some photos of the college grounds and it's facilities, then transferred them directly from the tablet to my computer and printed them out in colour. Printed a copy of dropbox as evidence of all the three,Keynote,Pages Numbers that I created. The extra exercise i created at home using Pages,Keynote,Numbers.

Numbers App

I opened the Numbers App and created a new spreadsheet from a blank document.First i inserted the date, then using the  data sheet for creating a document about breakfast foods I entered text about what i had for breakfast and also what i have for breakfast in Spain. Using numbers to calculate the calories in each item. I calculated the total numbers of calories by using the Autosum. from the Tools icon i selected Share and print, Opened in another App,selected Excel and chose Open in Dropbox, after giving the file a suitable name i saved it.Then from my desktop computer opened Dropbox and downloaded and printed the two spreadsheets. Compared to Microsoft Excel, the numbers App was not as easy to use so i need to practise this at home.The intelligent keyboard was a great help when Entering data,adding numbers,dates and text using the equal sign to enter a formulae.

Created documents using Keynote

We used the camera App, to take various photographs of the college,buildings,facilities and leisure and health. With keynote we created a presentation document.  On slide one we changed the default photograph using the Format icon and the default style for the text box. Added a new slide selected the required layout for the pictures and added bullet text. Slide Two title Facilities,we added bullet text and photographs then resized and repositioned them.added an animation to one photograph.Selected a new slide with the correct layout for pictures and bullet text. Slide Three title Leisure and health added bullet text and photographs and repositioned the photographs with the tools icon, added transitions to the presentation. from the tools icon,we shared and printed then opened in another App selected Dropbox and saved it in Dropbox ,with a suitable file name. Opened Dropbox from my desktop PC, downloaded and printed the document. I found Keynote not as good as Microsoft PowerPoint, it is quite fiddly, need to practise this at home.

Pages

We opened and logged on to the DropBox App.On a new Pages document from a blank document we typed up using our rough noes about 3 different makes of tablet computers.Then took 2 photos on the i Pad and inserted into the document. Transfered the document to Word,opened DropBox from the desktop computer and downloaded and printed the document. I found this rather fiddly trying to type in the document compared to Microsoft Word.I suppose with a lot of practise i could get use to it.

Down loaded Three Apps and tested them to see what there function was.
Found some information on three different tablets and compared them.
I registered for Dropbox, and printed evidence of this
 I read the information on the app Pages and how to use it.

Emailings document form a tablet computer and taking photos for evidence

Exercise One First of all we learnt about Tablet Terms and Definitions.Exercise Two we took photographs for evidence that we are taking  a course in a college in Wales.Then we emailed different documents to our Tutor.Using the Notes App we typed some rough notes on all the default Apps and there uses, making changes to that document as proof. Accessing my favorite website i emailed this to my Tutor.
i am becoming used to all the uses now.

care and maintenance and i brainstorm

We have done exercise 1 about care and maintenance of an ipad, caring for your tablet computer using Safari bookmark to ipad user guide.
we used the ibrainstorm app which was fun, composing some notes on a particular subject which was about Wales.this is a helpful app for creating a template for ideas about your work,your job and to show the children etc.
after creating the notes we sent an email to joy and printed them out.
